For discussion purpose, since the MPV bangs into the side of the BMW, is the MPV in the wrong?

From the pics, base on the position, it does not look like Minor / Major road.

More like 2 lane straight road.

Possibility would be there was obstruction on the mpv lane and he wanna cut into the right lane but the sedan was just nice beside him.

or

The mpv driver a bit crazy go bang into the sedan. Straight road and within lane still can have this type of crash, its really amazing.

BMW position is in "straight line".

doesn't this mean 100% NOT at fault ?

She wasn't trapped inside at all. Her door was blocked but she could have easily gone out the other doors (or asked her husband to move his car)

now that i recalled the TNP report, the MPV didn't hit the bmw while turning out...

apparently there was a close shave but eventually both cars were out in the straight road (no accidents)... then the MPV went bonkers and served to hit the bmw on its side (apparently its driver was mad about something)~

Does it matters who is wrong or right in this case?

Even if the BMW is 100% right. The BMW owner insurance will 100% sure to raise the next renewal, based simply becasue of this accident incident. The insurance will lable him as "accident prone" category!

I have come to realised the fact that in Singapore, one has to learn to just accept the fact that in any accidents there is no right or wrong to argue about.

The insurance will not support any parties.

Both parties will have higher insurance premium next renewal...Win-Win situation for both insurance companies (assuming both using different companies). Even if same insurance company, lagi worst, the insurance co will want to recover back the repair costs....what best/easiest is to increase both parties insurance premiums!

Lose-Lose situation for the car owners, no matter who is more right or wrong!

Lets move on.

P.S.

Actually from the way the news reported...I chose to believe that the BMW has angered the wish earlier on. Then also the BMW must have sped up and refuse to let the wish overtake, thats why the accident can happen.

If the innocent BMW driver is SO Concerned about his Slipped-Disc wife...then he should have slowed down to the road side and let the wish overtake far far away, and not 'played' with the wish over 'nothing'. Both parties are likely to be big egositical men in this case!

Now car accident, have to waste time to go magistrate corut orders, hire lawyers, waste time to sue the wish drivers, waste time to go courts, etc.....worth that 2 minutes of anger outburst???

How is recovering their losses a win-win situation? Do you even know what it means to win?

whichever driver cannot contain his emotions while behind the wheel is NOT fit to drive .... [thumbsdown] such drivers should be removed from the road, they are potential killers/murderers i.e. using their rides as weapons .... [shakehead]

Just hope that GIA people dun anyhow give final verdict during the claims.

For this type of case where both party deny, gonna be third party.

Insurance premium gonna go up again... unless GIA have standard guidelines on the charges for repairs.
