Mar2010 coe was ard 20k. I got mine in feb for 42k. So obviously therer selling at a profit based on today's price. 1st hand now is ard 60k+ also if im not wrong. So not worth it to get 2nd hand in this case.

nolah bro.. brand new is like 97k...

anyway i check out one exora that was registered in March last year. the COE was like 3k plus.

remmeber there was once the bidding system was jam. and the coe price was very low. not sure the first or second bidding of March.

anyway i'll be just be in the waiting game. hee.

hoping to get it from direct buyer rather than from shop. cos as you mention earlier, it not worth it getting a seocnd hand at this prices the shop are selling.

hi all ,

my exora is due for 20k service where can i do it in JB?

thanks in advance

the answer is ANYWHERE in JB... the parts is everywhere.. plus 20k service is not much a different. the normal chang of engine oil, oil filter... and the normal check of tyre pressure, battery etc..

not much.. your spark plug shouldn't have any problem either unless your hand itchy wanna get a 'better' performance spark plug. hehe..

have fun.

Bro give proton a call, brand new Exora is ard $86k before some discount, if OPC then less than $70k....... [:p]

Good choice cos now other reasonable size MPV (e.g. Wish, though is smaller) is easily ard $110k, but be prepare on FC, cos I think most of them are just getting 10km/L at best

New car should be still 1.88%, same as used. Perhaps you should wait then for the Facelift Exora? It has a better assembled interior (less gaps between panels), and most of the problems with the car has been ironed out.

if u r driving opc, fc shouldnt b much of a concern. cos obviously u wont b driving much, n therefore wont use up petrol that much.

not really lah.. i can say drive more than normal plate.. i drive to work every day.. send my kids and all.. back and forth.

hehe

and my third child , god's will, will be born in May.. so thats one of the main reason need to upgrade the space.. hee

more baby seat, todller booster seats.

i'm not a heavy footer.. for the current car i'm driving, Honda Fit, my FC is average around 16km/l.

and i'm aware of Exora FC around 10km/l...

anyway anyone done overbore throttle body before?

thanks bro for the input. my fren also advice me to wait for the turbo version..

but honestly looks or performance not of my concern. just the space i needed most with a good reasonable price.

i was blinded last year.. cos i just realise now my honda fit is the same price of exora.. if i know this much earlier,

i would have change with you guys last year.. hehe..

Go and test drive and have a feel, that's the best as different driver has different opinion. My company was once considering Exora when its was launch and price then was under $60k! But CFO decided to keep the current fleet so now stuck...... [:(]

I have tried the car before, as I am old man so pick up speed is less important compare to ride comfort, I would consider Exora to be as good as my company Waja except much bigger space and higher driving position.

Juz called my friend who know somebody inside, the Exora is now $85k and they are offering $4k discount (CNY promo) so is abt $81K, & they r also giving free servicing (synthetic oil somemore) up to 60,000km, same as their warranty. Used car (1 year of less) now selling $70k+, unless the saving is big enough, else if add in the transfer fee etc, I would still recommend my company to look at brand new [:p]

Last but not least, advance congrats on your 3rd one...... [thumbsup]

thanks, bro.

its true that from your inside info of the price of the brand new exora is not far from buying a 1 year old exora from car dealer. if i have a much bigger budget, i would have the brand new one. What i'm looking for is those owner who wishes to just sell thier exora and hoping not to top up any cash.. and i would offer them other wise, i clear thier loan and also

give thema little cash on top of that. so same thing i'll be doing for now.. wishing and hoping and praying i get my exora soon. [laugh]

Well, I should say get a 2nd hand 2010 FL model. Not necessarily wait for the Turbo model to come in. That will definitely take ages to come in. Plus the price then will not be affordable.

hi all ,

my exora is due for 20k service where can i do it in JB?

thanks in advance

20k svc is considered a major service, cos for most owners is about 1 year since new.

at proton spore- the total cost is $324.34(inc GST)

ows syn. engine oil package which includes, ows engine flush, ows engine protector oil & ows fuel treatment.

spark plugs replacement, autogearbox AFT fluid replacement, replace brake fluid dot 4,

replace coolant & air-con system cleaning which comes FOC with ows syn. engine oil package.

just did it today---after taking car back--inside smelling very fresh due to air-con clean up & engine more quieter & more

responsive---autogear shifting also smoother due to new AFT fluid.

will monitor if any improvement on FC.

did the svc here cos wanted the ows package...of course in msia- much cheaper.

but dont forget to book early for your appointment cos it can get pretty packed

at proton edar at times...
