Panhard 1st Gear January 29, 2011 Share January 29, 2011 How come ATF & coolant need to replace at 20k? Most car i thought is 40k? for local conditions, city driving with lots of start/stop & gears up/down shifts... it only make sense to replace the ATF more often to maintain good operation of auto gearbox. cos auto gearbox repair don't come cheap! So 20k is ok! the $60/- spent is worth every cent in the long run. But if its a manual gearbox, then replacement at 40k is just fine! 20k works out to about 1 yr for most drivers, so changing the coolant, brake fluid every year is actually good practice
D325 Neutral Newbie February 1, 2011 Share February 1, 2011 How can the COE be 3k+? March 2010 COE round 1 was 20.8k... round 2 was 28k... And if you're talking about March 2009... all the more cannot be possible.... This car is launched in Malaysia in April 2009. It first came to Singapore in July 2009. I bought the first batch launch car in Suntec City. Launch price is S$58000. COE at tat time was around $13k... When they bid my COE, I got it at S$15.5k. D325 Neutral Newbie February 1, 2011 Share February 1, 2011 Proton give 2 servicing free labour. After that, I've done all my servicings in Malaysia. So far, the most expensive price tag I got was RM400+ when I did the 20 and 40k servicing. But please bear in mind that ALL the service centres in Malaysia will only uses mineral oil. If you want to use your fully synthetic oil, you'll need to find one service centre you know and they willing to use your synthetic oil. If not, they'll insist that you use their mineral oil or they'll not service your car.

I get ard 200km. But i always go in with 4 bars, cos 4 out of 7 is more than half, so still looks ok. Anyway very hard to gauge with the bars, so i guess that can b used as excuse if in case kena question.

So got good excuse if stopped and questioned. Can tell them just only dropped one bar. That's one thing I like about digi fuel gauge. Hahahah...
