Caaa Clutched June 18, 2011 Share June 18, 2011 (edited) Yes, been asking for the price every now and then.....in case company want to change, since launching (already 2 years....) Was told that at $97k, their COE rebate is $54,000/-, that's very high, meaning if COE drop then final price would be lesser...one of their commonly used scheme Guess the benefit of this scheme is that in case COE soften from last round (which is insanely high), buyer need not pay to feed more profit to Proton Matter of time if COE continue to colimb, Exora could be break the $100k mark Edited June 18, 2011 by Caaa ↡ Advertisement

Mustang 1st Gear June 25, 2011 Share June 25, 2011 I'm using Castrol Magnatec fully synthetic 10W-40,Engine a bit quiet when using 5W-30 last time.Only time warm up takes a bit longer than before.Just when 3rd servicing,Clean aircon filter, change eo,and do wheel rotation and balancing.Using SSW 16 inch 8x16 with Silverstone 205/55 tyres and i feel the car slightly lighter than stock.FC still the same.Last time having a hard time to keep up with my wife Saga 1.3 Campro when travelling to Malaysia at 120-140kmh full load,Now no problem can even overtake her.I am using Simota drop in airfilter too. Panhard 1st Gear June 30, 2011 Share June 30, 2011 U did ur 3rd servicing at proton or outside? Where u bought the simota? Thinking of changing some items to my very stock car. I have been using stock original spark plugs & air filter since new. A set of original plugs is RM 38.00 (S$15.50) & original air filter is RM 23.70 (S$9.70). -part price if purchased in proton edar is much cheaper. I would normally get a few sets of these to keep whenever I am up north! I strongly recommend to exora owners to change these 2 items at every 10k, its not expensive & it ensures good FC. Another thing I have noticed also is to use an engine oil that has a 40 grade instead of a 30 grade. its better on the campro engine too! My suggestion is just stick to stock items! its better, just only change them regularly.....
Shorty Turbocharged June 30, 2011 Share June 30, 2011 panhard...where u changed those things? in msia also? im thinking of changing soon. cos after 10k is suppose to b 20k. but cos opc, i think better change every 6mths.

Shorty, having a fresh change of oil every 6 mths is good, even though you dont clock enough mileage. parts & service in m'sia is for sure much cheaper due to exchange rate. However, the hassle to schedule/time & make trip up north is not very practical especially if there is a return job. So far I'm pretty pleased with the service standard at leng kee & they sure know their stuff about the exora. they have also replaced some items under warranty without me asking as it was recommended by the factory -- may also be partly due to my good service record with them. some items can be done DIY, like for example the air filter(just 3 clips & a screw) & spark plugs(if you have the proper tools & know how).
