thanks... according to the mech at stamford, the rubber or something on the steering rod is loose.. hmm...

he readjust the steering and its fine now.. drove from tuas to serangoon just now, feels fine to me i think.. :) asked if my camber is off he said he adjusted it back for me already.. anyway he was really nice, brought me on a test drive over and over again to make sure everything is ok before handing the car to me

I'm also facing same prob, after getting it aligned twice, still pulling slightly to the left. Mech says culprit is one or my tyres, which were uneven. I thought of changing that tyre (quite new tyres by the way) but what if still doesnt improve ? Really hope that someone can really diagnose and solve my prob and not by trial and error.

Is it tie rod bush worn out? If so, better get it replaced. Otherwise, got no steering. Rem to replace it in a pair.

no idea what its called, he explained to me in chinese which i dun really understand.

i went to the stamford at loyang.. i find their service very good [thumbsup]

my right tyres have uneven wear as well, he said that might also be the cause of it but after he adjusted the steering feels quite ok.. tried on PIE again just now and its good..i can release both hands and car still drives straight for a distance before it starts to steer off [flowerface]

Neutral Newbie

Amin is the worker right ? The boss is Mr Ong ?

If you go for 4 wheel alignment, they will adjust not only toe-in/out, camber but also castor angles as well. Look for Amin if you want to go to

AMK Ind. park. a shop called Aesop.

It is call a tie rod end. As you mentioned in your first post, your steering wheel is not aligned center, and not that your car is drifting to one side. If the car is not drifting and you don't have tire wear issue, then the problem is not due to wheel alignment. Your tie rod is probably worn out making it difficult to center the steering wheel. Just replace them and at the same time, check the inner tie rod for free play. If free play exist, replace the inner tie rod too.

Another word for tie-rod components is call steering linkage.
