Darryn Turbocharged October 9, 2009 Share October 9, 2009 H3 is a massive disappointment - compared to the orginal and even H2 is is just a poseurs car. What really made the brand great was the unbeatable offroad ability of the original - even if it wasn't practical onroad. Since then it has just gone downhill. H3 is based on a Tahoe right? Which is just a bloody family friendly people carrier no better than a Santa Fe I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese just maintain it as an image thing and nothing else. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The license is bought for the body work and design only. US Army procurement is not affected. FYI. The PLA already got their own version of Hmvees copied from the American design years ago. It will be interesting to see if the Chinese military will start using Hummers as their standard military transport? And does that mean that next time the US Army need parts for their Humvees, they must go through China??
