Drive_carcar Clutched September 4, 2009 Share September 4, 2009 I was having problem pairing up my new handphone with my old bluetooth headset. Before I hop off to buy a new one, just want to check, if a bluetooth headset was ever paired up with another phone before, can it ever be paired up with another phone? Or is it something wrong with my phone? Don't tell me bluetooth headsets must be "virgin" in order to pair up to a phone? ↡ Advertisement

Sg2303 2nd Gear September 4, 2009 Share September 4, 2009 should be able to. Maybe you can search online with the model and you may find the instructions on how to do it.
Watwheels Supersonic September 4, 2009 Share September 4, 2009 The version of the 2 device is different. Most likely your old one is v1 and the newer versions are v2.something.

No matter how many hp your bluetooth has paired with before, you can always pair with another hp. If you are thinking of buying another BT, I would strongly recommend Plantronics. It is the best among those I have used so far - Nokia, SE, Samsung, Jabra, Motorola and Plantronics. Currently, using the Plantronic Voyager 835 with digital sound processor (DSP). When looking for a BT, get one with DSP as the noise cancellation in noisy places makes a lot of difference.

That makes sense. My old one was bought in 2007, and my new phone only bought yesterday. That said... very ironic... I got so sick and tired of waiting for my iPhone, I just bought a SE handphone for temporary use. The just now got called by Singtel to go collect my iPhone. Yippie! Now the hard part is decide whether my wife or me gets to use the iPhone.

I'm looking for good BT stereo headphone. What I did was instead of connecting to stereo headphone, I connect the BT to my car's AUX input. So when I receive a call, I hear the caller through my car's speakers, and talk goes to the the BT headphone mic. Works like a charm. And then I can put MP3 songs into my phone, and play music through my BT stereo, which comes through my car speakers, which made my iPOD quite reduncdant. ↡ Advertisement
