SupperTime Clutched September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 rather avoid both 1st and 2nd... feel kind of rushed as if i drive slowly people wiill signal to OT on green light.
Forhod Clutched September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Like to be in the first in line at the traffic light and hate to be behind a lorry/van/bus at the traffic light... Same here. But when first in the line at the traffic, tend to pick up faster than usual because don't wanna hold up the traffic behind.

Hermitage 1st Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 OK ok! I'll admit to being one of those who love to be on poll position at the lights. It's not that my car is very fast or anything, just don't like obstructions! Alot of cars like to move off at ridiculously slow speeds from the lights, trying to save fuel I guess
Mits_jc 5th Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 1st to cross the lights at just the moment before it turns from amber to red, i like that better.

Alot of cars like to move off at ridiculously slow speeds from the lights, trying to save fuel I guess yes..i agree...i hate those cars which take like 10 secs just to hit 50kmh...i rather quickly accelerate to the speed which i want and then cruise.. Nicholas 5th Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 When I in a rush, of cause need first because if I try to overtake some people think I jioing him to race. When I not in a rush even lorry/vans try to overtake me. My car don like to be in normal speed, either fast or slow, or it will feel weird.. like some weird humm itching me to go faster.. Redplanet Clutched September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Who likes to be first or second at the traffic lights! Or do you prefer relaxed driving Obviously.
Watwheels Supersonic September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 I ever see a bugger took off like a rocket when the lights turn green but dan there's this red light beater who slammed hard into the side of his car. Become first to almost die. Being first in a green light is not always good.

Alot of people forget about others or are just plain ignorant like how people rush to turn out from small to big road forcing you to slow down behind them then they take their bloody own sweet time to cruise...hate people like that! Alfisti168 1st Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Its quite dangerous to accelerate fast from traffic lights actually. Some cyclists predict wrongly when the traffic lights change to green. They chiong le then realise wrong timing. Couldn't turn back and therefore have to press hard all the way. Very dangerous. Bicolor 5th Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Actually accelerating fast from traffic lights is not the dangerous part, complacency is. A lot of people meet accidents when they rush off and someone beats the red light. A lot of us do actually become complacent over time and assume that we have the right to rush off the minute the light turns green. Yes, we do, but that doesn't make a difference if someone beats the red light either deliberately or in a daze.
Ithunk 1st Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 yup drive safe and with tact
GoodCar 4th Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 check that when it is safe to go, gently(quick but not sudden) press down your right foot and accelerate off so that everyone can clear fast. For normal modern sedan car changing gear between 2000 to 3000 rpm is quite fuel efficient, so please don't crawl like a turtle to save fuel. driving too long at low gear is not fuel efficient. Vinceyeo Neutral Newbie September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 (edited) Don't think so, judging from how most drivers likes to form a long queue at the middle. There are obvious reasons why at most small roads people keep to centre lanes... Oh yes I also love to be at the first or second in front of traffic lights...
