Not for sale, limited edition to 500 pieces. Had to ballot for one if you wanted. Also released one spyder - also 500 pieces only.

 

Local guy bid for one but missed out - article is in this months Torque.

OT. EA wants more ppl to see Alfas. But i thought without their svc centre there, it won't be enough. After all, customers pay more visits to svc centres than to showroom. Hopefully, that will be the case next time.

149 due late next year according to Europe news.

 

159 Q2 is nice - will be better when the new gearbox comes. Pricing now is less than $100k. Very attractive

What Alfa needs is more people that have never driven an Alfa before to try one. Too many remember the old Suds and 155s - not reliable, maintenance issues and everything. THe new cars much better, still not in league of Lexus, but match the others

 

I am a huge fan of the brand, the first time I drove three in one day - a 147 SS, 156 GTA and the GT. Have also tried the 166, 159 and Mito. Every time I sit inside the feeling is very special. And feaure for feature for $ they kick the butt of BMW and Merc. Seriously, $100k for 185 hp conti small mid exec - where got so cheap?

Just my personal feel. The front design of the 8C Competizione is leaning more towards the Mito with round eyes , small grille and a tad on the cute side. Why not Alfa take the 159 big grille and aggressive headlamp concept and I believe it will have more 'boomz'.
