I thought of the same too.... but the usual rubber band seems kind of thick. Or maybe I can simply stuff it in.

It’s not the washer.

If you invert the sensor cap, there is a O shape rubber that sits inside the groove. When you screw the cap onto the valve, I think this O ring will make contact with the edge of the valve and prevent air from escaping. When this ring is missing (mine was struck inside the valve previously) or damaged, air will escape gradually and the display will sound an alarm of low air pressure in that tire.

Some design may not have that rubber O ring I think.

Hello...I just gotten my tpms today.

How to install?😄

1)  replace the current cap with the sensor? Not too tight as mentioned here. It will auto play on the receiver? What suppose to be the correct reading.

I can do away with the nut right?

2) do each sensor (4 of them) come with individual battery? How about the receiver does it come with any battery or solely depend on solar or usb?

Yes to all. It will auto play after the wheels move for a short while. The sensors should also auto activate once high pressure is detected when you screw them in.

Brightness don’t need to adjust actually. I’m talking about those solar TPMS.

When there’s enough light, an indicator will light up on the display and the display will brighten up.

When there’s not enough light, the indicator will be gone on the display and the display will dim.

This is almost like canned sardines/longans - same tin cans whoever wants the factory just wrap the paper wrapping with your branding.

I just buy and then wait,  sometimes I forget and it becomes a surprise !   😀
I got more interesting experience buying higher priced items locally.  😎

The mould is there, so might as well maximise it.

I posted a TPMS question in my JC whatsapp chatgroup to ask for opinions as I was thinking of buying one from  Lazada/Shopee to install.  And I did finally installed an external one at ~$25.

My friends didn't "install", it was already there in their vehicles and they seldom need to check.

I am glad my ex-classmates are doing better than me.

How is your previous similar TPMS then? Any review?

I've used 4 sets since my previous car, total about 3 years. all works the same, sensor will spoil after some time depending on luck. If u want longer lasting maybe go buy a branded one with warranty. If not any of it will do.
