IMHO, this is not a good time to buy used car that is from early 2009 b'cos coe then was low. In fact, i heard of pple who bot cars that cost 65k then, now trying to sell 69k..

I m 1 such owner.

 

Think such cars can still be a good deal, provided:

 

1. U intend to drive many years. Changing out of these cars is not advisable because of low paper value. Ppl outside will take advantage and quote u low low.

2. Dun total loss your car in an accident. U can't get back much from LTA, again bcos of low paper.

3. Buy at what is fair price for the vehicle (meaning how much the owner bought - depreciation for 1 year)

 

And you will njoy a much lower buying price and depreciation than other ppl driving the same model.
