Sosaria Twincharged December 28, 2009 Share December 28, 2009 (edited) Recently sent my Sunny N16 for servicing at 100,000 km. It was just routine. But I've heard that some expensive components like timing chain, etc. have to be changed by certain mileage or condition??? Anyone has experience of this? Hard to find owners of high mileage cars to discuss with , given that singapore is such a small place from A to B and people change cars like anything... Seaweed 1st Gear December 28, 2009 Share December 28, 2009 timing chain 100k no need change....only belts needs to be...I think 100k is not really a big number so the normal servicing should be sufficient...I sold my Sunny at around 80k... see if other bros here have any better experience... Hard to find owners of high mileage cars to discuss with , given that singapore is such a small place from A to B and people change cars like anything... mine 5 years old coming to 120kkm. N16 is timing chain, no need to change at such mileage. Usually should be able to last 10 years. Once I drove a car till scrap with 240kkm also no need to change the timing chain.
