I buy the pork lard from Sheng Siong or NTUC. About $1 to $1.20 per packet. Enough to render 1 small bowl of lard. Great for using as cooking oil.

MO,

How do you normally use your pork lard - use it for frying etc? Butter for me I can eat it neat but pork lard - got to cook/fry it first right?

Also did you get the pork lard from IMM too?

By the way, what's MMMM?

Guys please note, when buying PORK, ground PORK from the above establishment, it seems that they have now gone down n their

standards, by adding TENDONS into ground pork, yes, you heard me well. I bought 6 packs and all have tendons grounded into them,

and it's rubbery to chew onto. Norm is just meat and fat, not TENDONS. Have written to their management and all I got was a reply saying they will look into it, further mention in a second email, no reply at all.

So take note. I'm getting my ground pork direct from the market, expensive but you know for sure it doesn't have tendons! <_<

A good video - Dr. Terry Wahls learned how to properly fuel her body to cure her MS and get out of her wheelchair. This with a primal/paleo/hunter gatherer diet.

What is the Most effective way to lose tummy and spare tire ??

Please do not follow those high fat diet. For sure you'll lose weight if you restrict calories but the type of weight you lose is different and the long term effects of constantly eating fatty food is pretty much a no brainer. Doesn't need a rocket scientist to tell you.

The most effective way is to eat clean and exercise regularly.

Example of eating clean:

1) Sliced fish soup with plain rice

2) Lean meat porridge

You try having either of these two for every meal for about 1 month and see the effect for yourself.

u lost weight ????? [laugh]

Since you're already so sure that it's not going to work, just do what everyone says:

Eat less fat, eat more healthy whole grains, eat less meat, eat more fruits and veggies, exercise more.

If you read even a little bit of this thread, you'd know that there are weird people here who eat weird things. Probably not the best thread to ask for an answer that you seem to already know the answer to...

trust me......testimony here in this thread will disagree with you.

It's good if it works for you guys. To me its just trying to justify an easier way to diet because dieting is no easy thing. I have never seen a top calibre professional bodybuilder follow this type of diet (the high fat method) since they have the lowest possible bodyfat content during contest time and what better way to compare?

I shall not interfere further since I did not start this thread.

From my own experience, the conventional wisdom given by nutritionist is so strong that even after being in this eating habit for 2 years and showing the blood test results - there are still sceptics even with friends and family members. I guess to each his own. If I go back to conventional wisdom, only I myself will reap the results.

Hence for me, I will still go on eating according to primal/paleo life style for the benefits. For example, restricting and abstenance from legumes (like my favorite peanuts which is now replaced with almonds) eliminate my sinus issues and thus prevent the mother of all sinus ills - sinus headaches.

Cheers to all fellow primal/paleo/low carb buddies who shared in this topic. Forget abt the past and focus on what remains. Enjoy the benefits, the power and strenght and the time spend with family and friends =)..

me downloaded an android apps that speaks of "Paleo Diet"/caceman diet but differs from that of ours. below is a short abstract of whats written..

MEATS THAT NOURISH YOUR INNER CAVEMAN

Your inner caveman loves meat. And think about it: he hunted. If

he didn't bag a woolly mammoth or other animal, his clan went

without protein. So those times when he did bring home the meat

were not only times of celebration, but a renewal of healthy eating

for them.

So it should come as no surprise that not many meats are off

limits, as long as you choose the leanest variety you can find. In

fact, lean meat is a vital part of this amazing lifestyle plan.

Here's a comprehensive list so you can get a feel for how easy it

is to choose your meat and still be confident your nourishing your

inner caveman:

- Chuck steak

- Extra-lean hamburger (no more than 7 percent fat)

- Lean beef (trim it of all visible fat)

- London broil

- Lean pork

- Pork chops

- Pork loin

- Flank steak

- Top sirloin steak

here's what Ronnie Coleman eats and i am pretty damn sure whoever is planning to lose weight will balloon in no time following this diet

u can't use bodybuilders to compare since bulk of population don't exercise at the same intensity as them.

Read "body builder". Exercise a few hours every day.

Us. Exercise 20 mins three times a week. Our body fat is not as low but I can tell you with certainty we are fitter and healthier on all counts.

BTW, we can eat until puke also never mind. Calorie watching? Not relevant.

I could go on but your mind is set so good luck on your fish and rice/porridge method. You must be healthy, fit and dun exercise much cos you seem to talk with so much authority.

:D

Your examples are exactly what HPB has been promoting all the time.

The results over the years are increase in Heart ailments, increase in diabetes, high blood pressure, more people dying of

cancer.........

Good Luck.
