IPhone Problem - anyone encountered before?

Got my iPhone for 3 mths now.. dis morning woke up to find out that the whole home page was magnified.. and the screen only show the top right quarter of the usual page.. tried using finger to slide down n left.. but it just wouldnt move!!

 

Tap on one of the apps also showing magnified and top right hand quarter!! Tried power off and on.. also couldnt rectify.. But when use finger slide hard the page was able to move to the direction I wanted it to.. Once let go it's back to the same. I slided and pushed hard in attempt to go to the Settings.. and managed to select Rest All.. After that the screen was back to normal again..

 

Anyone ever encountered such? Wondering what went wrong..

it wasnt connected to charger.. i tried to connect to charger when aft attempt to on and off did not resolve.. When connected to charged I tried again.. it too wouldnt work.. hope it wont happ again..

u install SBsettting? if so,u can remove whats running behind, maybe got some apps running behind the scene..

If yours is the iPhone 3GS, you have activated the zoom function. Tap with 3 fingers together it will zoom and un-zoom the home page.

 

To disable zoom, go to Settings --> General --> Accessibility -->Zoom (off it)

Thanks bro.. understand what u meant.. but didnt seem to be the zoom problem.. Usually the page with all the apps cannot be zoomed right? My problem was that it was zoomed to 4 times bigger.. and got hanged at the top right hand quarter of the page with the apps.. meaning only saw some apps which are the ones at the top right hand quarter.. I did try to tap to reduce.. also pinch to reduce.. didnt work..

To get there, you need to figure out how to navigate while Zoom is turned on:

 

To zoom : Double-tap with 3 fingers

To move around the screen: Drag 3 finers while zoomed

To change zoom: Double tap and drag 3 fingers up or down

 

Dun ask me why 3 fingers and not 1 middle finger... hehehe!

Probably a software glitch...

 

Tried hardware reset?

1. With iPhone screen facing you

2. Press Top right button together with the Home button until the screen blank out

3. Wait until you see the Apple logo then release all the buttons

4. Wait for the phone to boot up

Yeah which was what i did.. reset all.. That was the only thing i could think off when all else failed.. now back to normal.. and also ensure the zoom is off.. hope it wont happ again. It just happ during my sleep!

i kenna this also when sleeping, woke up off alarm and anyhow grabbed my phone and it zoomed...

 

panic and searched online then realised it is a function

 

it is not a glitch. u can try it now again on ur main page. u just need to double again with 3 fingers to get in or out of the zoom.

hard reset is the last resort, which if still cannot, better do a one-for-one exchange

I never had this problem before but everytime there is any glitch, I do a restore. try restore from itune see if it works.

Yeah now i think i more or less realised.. i hv never enabled the zoom function.. but maybe like wat u think anyhow grab.. then accidentally enabled.. i quickly disabled it.. too zoomed for my liking..
