I think is better to change the whole Kitchen Cabinet

It might be expensive but it can last you for very long so is worth it.

These are the typical cockcroach friendly designs. You need to air-con kitchen to keep the cockcroaches out. Otherwise apply chenicals harmful to health. Most/all interior designers unable to design something not cockcraoch friendly when I renovated mine 5-room years ago. Let us hope better luck for you.

I am going to do reno next mth too, the exsiting cupboard/ kitchen all very good, but dun like the design. initially wanted to relaminate too (thinking just rebuild a new door cause casement and laminate the side), but was quote relaminate/ rebuild was 2/3 pricing of changing whole thing......thus might as well... in the end ops for change kitchen and all cupboards

I've replaced virtually 1/3 my kitchen cabinet by myself. Originally from Ikea and didn't want to change the design. Due some leakage which caused plywood to rot, had no choice but to replace certain parts and get exact color formica for lamination. Contractor wanted to charge $3-4K but managed to do it for about $1K DIY. Tedious I would say but happy with paid off effort.

I got the plywood and formica from the supplier ard junction of Eunos Ave 2 and 3 or 4 more than a decade back. I believe they should still be there. You can check it out and ask the supplier if he could recommend you contractors they may know since I believe some carpenters must have gotten their supplies from those shops.

Sometimes, it's not about the costs of changing but because some changes doesn't necessary improve the existing design and/or is too unnecessary.

Have a nice day and Happy Vesak Day! [sunny]

If Kitchen carbinet is in good condition, changing of cabinet door should be cheaper.

Anyone done re-laminate of kitchen cabinet before ? Any contractor to recommend ? Thanks.

I believe many/most kitchen cabinet are designed to welcome cockcroaches and the likes. You may want to consider shelves instead

Any lobang to recommend carpenter for my kitchen cabinet as require repair ?

bro,

i am not doing any recommendations here, but rather reaching out to provide good advices . . . .

less you are getting those premium brand designer kitchen set that easily set above 50k to 100k (cabinet only, apparatus & equipements not incl)

else I presume you are looking at above average finishes from 15k to 25k . . . .

you MUST know quality of the fronts and its finishes, inner layers materials and finishes, and lastly (not least) the doors materials, its finishes and configuration types!

I'd say 80% of the abovementioned (except for the premium brands) where builder, fabricator and installer come from jb.....

60% of the materials are fabricated from jb too . . . .

a very very common trick is . . . . most customers were shown on the material types but receiving another inferior quality material types during installations!

cheers

Replaced the top recently using cultured marble . Not bad looking and much cheaper than granite.  Try googling for it.

5 year old cabinets, all in very good condition except one side of about one meter by 400mm which for some reason has just now peeled off.

Want to buy the glue to DIY repair.

What glue and where to buy.

Thanks.
