My legs are usually stretched out like the racer but one of my arms will be resting somewhere like the pimp. Rollercoaster is the kayu driver position. [laugh]

I used to drive in 'The Racer' position. More relaxed position. Until I had lower backache which was getting worse. Now I drive in 'The Multi-Tasker' position, but slightly backwards. Not so front. Only on the e-ways, will become 'The Pimp'..

How to spot: Seat inclined, arm on window ledge/outside window, one hand on wheel. Drivers aged 25-35year old men are most likely to be 'Pimps' behind the wheel.

The survey results don't tally. 37% + 26% + 19% + 8% = 90%. What about the other 10%??

Neutral Newbie

dictated by bucket seat, i sit upright and more like the racer but not slouching which hurts the back.

I sit Upright with my head resting on the Headrest with Chin tuck down. Basically following the contours of the sit, no space left.

This way is the best for Posture as :

a. If there are space at the lower back/backside it means you are sitting more with your lower spine then your Bum.

You will get lower back pain or Numbness at the Tip end of your lower spine.

b. If you head is not touching the Headrest with Chin tuck down, - it means you are crouching forward hunchback and if you straighten your back, you are actually looking up = You will get Neckache.

These are the 2 most important points - Head/neck and Lower back.

tried racer style before...dont like it...arms and legs too relax and stretched, will not have sufficient time to react.

prefer multi-task style.

At high speeds, usually like the racer but with the back more upright. In other traffic conditions with most manual vehicles usually like the multi-tasker, with the exception of my column-shift car in which holding on to the gearstick is a very awkward position so something more like the pimp, with the right hand holding the wheel but resting on window at the same time.

(edited)

Mine is the racer pimp . :D

<----plus the vtec kicking in face.

Seat reclined, straight legs, low seating position but Left hand on arm rest while right hand on top steering.

The rollercoaster should be renamed the kan cheong spider. Cos it's a proven that when ppl are nervous they will tend to lean forward when seated.
