TS has already waited for a long time. The AGC does not seem to want to take this up. I really feel for TS. I don;t normally condone violence but really seems like best resort to vent some pent up frustration. We are human after all and feelings do get the better of us. The restraint shown so far has been examplery. Kudos to TS.

Civil suit wise, I hope TS is prepared to wait and spend $$. The wheels of justice just ain't tuning.

Not much of a use but can try. The kakia fr these offices will arrow back to SPF. My personal experience with email to PMO office in an exercise in futility.

Neutral Newbie

Is the AGC trying to tell the public that we should take revenge ourselves instead of going to police?

I will sign on the petition if bro Adrianli wants to.

Wait for the AGC reply 1st see what they can offer, if still nothing. Ask them for advice what else you can do. Think it is inevitable to hire a lawyer to go civil.

This country is really hopeless if the judge can not give a fair judgment.

Since your case has gone so public, i think better not do anything foolish.

I think the time for further waiting has passed.

If wait any longer, the fella Chong will die of old age before justice is served. See the Romanian fella, up till now drink Vodka in Romania laughing at us.

It's time to blow it all to stomp and let citizen action take its course. Since the AGC seems to condone such vandalism, even with clearcut photo evidence, I think the time has come for Singaporeans to stand up for Singapore. Enough of the national day wayang at the padang. True patriotism comes when you can stand up for your fellow man.

I have actually tested this theory out before.

I sent LKY and LHL 2 emails each after a national day parade and a national day rally, using different email accounts.

To each of them I sent 1 email praising a policy, and the other email criticizing another policy.

For both of the letters of praise, I received replies - from LKY, his secretary replied for him. For LHL, he signed off as himself, (not sure if he wrote the email himself).

For both of the critical emails... I have not received any replies till this date.

Thus to answer your curiosity, in reality: they scan the emails before deleting them. They only want to hear the good things.

i cannot understand our legal system

the swiss guy graffiti case, the work is at least pleasant to the eyes compared to mr chong 's work

the intent was mischief while the intent of chong is malice

the other difference is the status of the victim in both cases.

seems to me, all talk about intent, severity of the act in the eyes of the law are for show only. eventually, the case is decided based on the status of the victim.

The one major and significant difference between TS case and the MRT is the former is private property whereas the latter is considered as "public" property. AGC is more interested in protecting "public" interest instead of individual. Unless someone is physically hurt during the process.
