Adrianli Hypersonic July 12, 2010 Author Share July 12, 2010 so how? any updates? I spoke to the police DSP and my lawyer today. The police DSP said that they have yet to receive reply from the AGC. The DSP did tell me that the result of the verbal warning will not be made known to me, whether Mr Chong accept the verbal warning. He has the option to disagree with the verbal warning and the police will just close the case as it is. This will not be made known to me, the police will just send me a courtsey letter that they have issued a verbal warning. Where is the justice!!! My lawyers were shocked that the AGC did not prosecute Mr Chong. They encouraged me to speak to the local media thru Stomp, newspaper and forum to make it a big hooha but I dont think I want to go down this route. I paid the deposit to start a civil suit against Mr Chong today. My lawyer will also be writing to AGC to check why they do not want to prosecute Mr Chong. They will draft a letter of demand and it will be sent to Mr Chong by this week. I think I should not be revealing wat my lawyers action further, this is to prevent letting leak of any info to Mr Chong. All I can say, I will make sure justice is served one way or another. Cerano 1st Gear July 12, 2010 Share July 12, 2010 time to let the big guns fly bro. the authorities have already made it clear that they have no intention of exacting justice on this criminal. So its up to you to fight for yourself now. No method should be considered too underhanded. Anything that can be used should be used.

All I can say, I will make sure justice is served one way or another. ---------------------------------------- That's very wise Like most if not all in this thread, I hope this case will close very soon in your favour. The irony with our system is where cases can apparently be settled early, they drag without valid reasons other than 'pails of excuses'. While I appear to be generalising, I think something's seriously wrong with the priorities of our system today- looking at your and some recent cases I read in the news. Is our land now a lawless land where such perpetrators of such criminal acts roam free? ---------------------------- The SPF always claim to be busy busy so much so that there was a lapse in Adrianli's case beginning from the IO and subsequently to the AGC. Overloaded with cases??? I think the governance of the Home Affairs ministry needs to be scrutinised. Singaporeans ought to wake up and register their displeasure at the ballot box in due course if Singapore were to change for the better. It seems apparent, complacency had set in in the various ministries.

Achtung 6th Gear July 12, 2010 Share July 12, 2010 Well said bro. I agree whole heartedly. Loads of big words and airy thoughts. But ZERO in substance. Idealistic Hyperbole. Whats the point of putting up all these big words and meaningless theories like "Punishment and enforcement was never meant to be the way to correct flaws and ills, among humans and animals alike." It is not meant as a correction tool, it is meant as a DETERRANT. This Chong wanker did not do it on a moment of impulse, it was PREMEDITATED and REPEATED. The fact that he even tried to use a towel to cover his identity proves beyond reasonable doubt that he knows that what he did was wrong. If he had only done it once and begged for forgiveness but TS still chose to push it this far, then your bunch of nonsense may hold some truth. Since you are sitting on such a high horse, can I have your address and car license number? If you are not willing to stand up to all the rubbish you sprout, then you are just like what you preach, utter rubbish.

The only possible reason I can think of why the AGC refuses to prosecute Mr Chong is that he could be someone who has some kind of links with people holding some kind of high post up there. You have my support, adrian. Hope justice would be served eventually. I have more or less lost faith in our justice system which only uphold justice in selective manner. ↡ Advertisement
