P-plate woman driver slams car into stationary bike in carpark A reader was astonished to find that a car had crashed into a stationary motorcycle at a carpark.

 

The reader was having lunch with his brother when he heard a loud crash, followed by screams coming from the spiral carpark next to Jelapang LRT station, Stomp reported.

(Photos: Stomp) The reader, who went by the nickname robert77, said he immediately rushed to the scene to check out the severity of the accident and to offer assistance.

 

Instead they found a white sedan with a probationary plate had crushed a parked motorcycle. Bits and pieces of debris from the motorcycle were strewn on the ground.

 

Instead they were surprised to find no casualties at the scene.

 

Part of the car's bonnet was crumpled, with the right side of the car sustaining the heaviest damage. The bumper had also partially fallen off.

 

One can imagine what the owner of the crushed motorbike would say to the lady driver.

not only are the technical aptitude(s) of these said newbie drivers in severe doubt, i am also inclined to think that many of them are sorely lacking in driving manners and ethics.

Maybe just passed so not used to auto and step wrong pedal. I did that when I just passed also. Step wrong pedal but luckily I didn't hit anything. So now driving manual again.

Step wrong pedal? There is only 2 pedals in auto cars! Duh!

It's a head-on collision some more, in an enclosed circular area where there isn't even a single lot for cars. If it's not a case of "step wrong pedal in auto car", I can't think of any other possibility except sheer unbridled stupidity...
