I think if drop also quite little as from what i see during the weekend, quite alot of booking being make at some of the showroom. Even the news in Channel U also say that there is an increase of 30% sales in car.
Toapayohkid 1st Gear May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 prices too early to stabilise. the panicky risk-adverse ones would go in and buy now to drive coe demand and prices up again. for those who can wait, time is on our side. i got my own buy-price threshold based on what i can afford. Whoo_sh Neutral Newbie May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 the new quota is pathetic... how r the distributors going to react? split a smaller pie or grab bigger share to force out other players?

Fattychubby 1st Gear May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 (edited) I think sooner or later some of the player will be squeeze out of Singapore market. i was thinking .. the china brands have been very quiet lately// if the high COE sustain.. i think they will be the first casualty.. even before the COE hike.. i see their showroom is alwalys quiet eveytime i passed by ( Geely at Ubi) from the pricing done by Komoco and Kia this 2 weeks, i dont think COE will get lower.. it should be close to $30K again this week for Cat A. not so sure abt BM and the rest Edited May 16, 2010 by Fattychubby
Albeniz Turbocharged May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 (edited) Given the cheaper euros, quite a number of people might start to look at the continentals. Edited May 16, 2010 by Albeniz
relacker Clutched May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 many ppl are holding back big tic purchase due to greek financial turmoil and the thai instability, there is talk now of double dip recession. COE price should follow the bad sentiments , bearish market and go down some more. though quota is cut, the demand is cut even further. i foresee it going down to at least 15k.
