Pachelbel 1st Gear August 6, 2011 Share August 6, 2011 Can owners share the FC so far? Does replacing the tyres help reduce road noise (or is the noise due to suspension setup)?
St220 Neutral Newbie August 8, 2011 Share August 8, 2011 Can owners share the FC so far? Does replacing the tyres help reduce road noise (or is the noise due to suspension setup)? range from 8.5 ~ 9.5 km/l, 60% city/40% highway. Driving up north can clock 12km/l. There is an owner that can clock 680km per full tank in local driving, that is more than 11km/l..... nexen tyres are noisy, replaced with quiet tyre will cut down the road noise. Ytd I saw a black K5 on the road. Sad to say, it's pretty ugly, and the colour fails to show the stylish design of the K5. Best till date is still the snow white pearl, bright silver and santin metal colour =) Spicy Red ain't not bad too......=) Somehow dark colours don't work well with the K5 =(

My preferred colors: white, black, satin metal....white no stock so left with 2 colors to choose.....after seeing the test drive units, choice is clear Black or dark color will mask out the beautiful curves of the K5 plus the side & front grill details.... but the generous chrome garnish on the door frame will stand out better, more contrast with dark color....... St220 Neutral Newbie August 16, 2011 Share August 16, 2011 (edited) just did 10k servicing last wkend, expecting to be below $200 as labour cost waived for the 1st 3 servicing... end up paying $210 (exclude GST).... I presume the labour cost should be around $60...expecting to be around $300+ from the 4th servicing onwards, not much diff from conti I would say..... And your warranty is now 5yrs/unlimited mileage right? So that means you have to stick with them in order not to void the warranty.....=( High servicing costs is also a way they can price the car attractively as well. They earn as much back as possible come your servicing =)
