I saw mechanic change the battery by hooked up with another battery, he said to minimize setting problem cause nowadays car are more electronic and got a lot of setting for engine, etc. .. I clocked min.10km/L, with luxury time permitted for my driving, then max.out....11km/L. Absoutely Stock conditions maintained with 185/65/R14, Yokohama A Drive Tyres. I have many experience with this car. And in the last 15 years, I have driven many other cars. The Optra may not be as fuel efficient, but it is one loyal servant that will never give you up in the middle of the road simply because some parts fail. I have even known of one Optra that was driven for months with an empty radiator reservoir. The owner didn't know as the car did not overheat or fail. It just went on and on. Then there is another owner who manage to drive 350km back from KL with a fail auto gearbox before the car finally succumb to failure after passing Woodlands custom. It is like giving up its last breathe only after knowing the owner is safely back in SGP. It's incredible. Great handling as well.....but the extreme robustness is impressive. Quite worthy of the tag. i remember my friend's accent manual 1.3m, super can trash around. very hardy. he even went drag racing with his friends (those anyhow type), do wheel spin just for nonsense fun. lasted a good 8 years before he changed to avante. never once broken down. basically... there's nothing to break down. its manual.... no airbag. no abs. everything is just very simple. ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
