Purposely captured the Porche driving pass in the background. Wanted a motion sense streaking but not enough time to set a slower shutter speed setting [bigcry]

Hi guys,

 

I have a big test tomorrow, so I have no time or energy to plan anything for the past few days. My apology.

 

2nd Summer shoot is open for next Sun Morning ( I think that's the preferred time slot).

 

Location is pending, but I must say Seletar is a good place (quiet & lots of space) & I don't mind returning if you guys. But of course, other locations can also be considered. We can have Prata & tea after that too.

 

Anyway, those interested, please indicate interest in this thread, or you can PM me your name & contact (if you have not gibe me your contact).

 

So I will start now on a fresh page.

Location: Seletar (Tentative until someone suggest better place)

Time: Sunday morning 25th July 2010 at 9a. You can come early for sunrise shot. I should be early as well.

 

Focus

 

The focus of this photoshoot will be same as last week, mainly to improve photography skills (especially in taking pictures of car),

Taking car group photo, & gathering interested in car photography.

 

We can have other focus photo shoots like night shoot, no car subjects, panning shots, post production to name a few (pending success & feedback from the next photo session), but lets take one step at a time.

 

I think most of you should be able to recognize my car.

 

Cheers, now I have to get back to study.

Nice shot you have there man... Too bad I missed out on the earlier session... you guys doing panning shots anytime soon??

 

Maybe we can try a few panning shot in the next shoot, but that will not be the focus. The reason being most of us (at least I think) are still beginne/mid level & I feel more time on fundamentals skills like composition, setting should be lay down before attempting more complex shots.

 

Thats my thinking anyway, but if others tell me otherwise, we can always accommodate the suggestion.

 

There is a lot of runoff areas & clear straight which is good for panning shots practice.

 

Anyway, let me know if you are interested to join the Sunday Shoot, & I will put your name down. Contact will also be nice.

very nicely done. i'm very interested if there's still such a shoot after i collect my scirocco 2 weeks later.

 

The scirocco is one of my favorite car!

 

I was even thinking of buying it sometimes ago, & even went to the vw showroom to have a look. What version & color did you ordered? Well you can stil join us, with wahtever ride you have right now.

Its actually more fun taking pictures of others car than your own ( simply by virtue that you can take pictures of your car anytime).

 

You are going to be one of the first name on my team sheet in future photo shoot. [:p]

I was helping to shoot Mr. Fred's awesome 300C (I was driving, my friend was shooting!)
