Shell V-Power97 = 97 RON

Shell V-Power Racing = 97 RON

 

What is the diff? I was suspecting the rename their fuelsave97 to V-Power97 for marketing purposes. I also suspected V-Power97 & V-power Racing are the same grade and quality marketed at diff price. Anyone care to comment?

yes fuelsave 97 change name to v-power97 price is rm2.1

 

v-power racing is more ex than v-power97 but quality is diff... more addicitives added.

 

v-power 97 is same as mobil syn f1 and caltex as all rm2.1

additive different. i monitor my fuel consumption for many times already. V-power Racing gives my better mileage

Actually after trying Shell, Esso, caltex and BHP petrol in Malaysia, I now stick to BHP cos I feel that it gives me better mileage, anyone agree with me?

yes i agree... bhp smoother for me.... esp now can pump at all stations as long its 97.... but jb only 1 bhp station

almost all, if not 90% of petronas have converted to ron 95 only, most of their stations in JB don't carry ron97, so come 1 aug, no ron95 means no petronas loh.

No, after customs, there is 1 BHP station, along Tebrau Highway on the opposite side, there is one as well together with Esso and Caltex and Shell

BHP can pump 95 @ RM1.85, SHELL must be 97 & VPower. Caltex can pump 95 as well.

 

YOu all should try out BHP and compare, it is really better.

i read in the website that there are 4 (if I am not wrong) in jb area that have ron97, but no reason for me to go to 2rd link or bukit indah because of petronas leh, the furthest I will go is jalan tampoi, because I pump CNG there, and because along the way there are 2 petronas stations, but they don't carry ron97. I don't like shell, therefore the only choice left will be esso or BHP at the junction liao.

Along Tebrau Highway, towards the direction of Customs, there is a BHP station there.

i duno where is jalan tampoi but if i rem correctly.... from JB you drive straight... after sentosa you continue go straight.. around mutiara motors there... the petronas... should have 97 too.. i rem pumping there before
