I do not have any papers with me when my mum adopted us. She named us and registered our birth. So frankly, my birth cert does not reflect my actual birth date and time. It was an "aga-ration".

It was not difficult to call my mum, mummy. I was adopted since birth and she was was my mum. No one else I would call mummy.

If the opportunity presents itself, and god's indication of paying it forward, why not??? But to walk up to an institution and ask for an adoption, thatz not me.

It is good to know, that even knowing the fact that you are adopted, you have still held onto

the fact of whoever raised you, are your parents, irregardless of the fact. Have seen children,

raised by adoptive parents, knowing the truth, turn ungrateful to their adoptive parents, having been given

everything they have to these children they treat and call their own, only yo come back, when these people pass on,

and fight with the actual children (1 or 2 own kids) for rights to their property.

Best of all, during the funeral, they tell everyone they were adopted, but treated the old folks as their own parents,

but............wear RED during moaning, am'I missing something here or is it a new trend to be happy that one has ended

life's suffering? [shakehead]

If my birth parents were to put us in an orphanage or give us to someone else to take care, I can accept that they do not have the means to raise us twins. But to throw us into the rubbish bin as if we were rubbish, I swear never to acknowledge them, over my dead body. Thats why I hate those ppl who throw their baby into rubbish chutes.

I believe in respecting the deceased and grieving family, no matter what religion. The funneral is not a appropriate place to make a scene.

Let me speak with the Pope TuaPui 06, confer and see if there is a puff of white smoke,

that will be the answer from God. Have heard though, he strongly disagree to our adoption

of this "Linda Blair" lookalike. :D

Yes...full agreement of child abandonment. Such people, are lower then toilet scum! Preposterous!

They will have karma befall on them 1000 times over for doing such a monstrous deed. If one creates life,

then one MUST take the responsibility that comes with that creation. It is LIFE and not an item or toy, to be discarded.

I have always believed and still do, that no matter how down in life one is, if the one above, gives you the gift to have children,

you will also be given the gift to take care of them, unless faith decides otherwise.

hmmm..but why do they not pass the name as per nromal???

anyway, it is good to tell the kids early and let them know.....some may feel shocked, but it is a load off your chest

i still remmeber my late fadder telling me when i was on a bus on the way to hospital...and i just asked

'simi si adoption?'......years later, when i understood, somehow it did not make a difference as the ppl who raised me, are my real parents...

my sis, however, also adopted, somehow did not take it too well, and to this day still questions....she is in a mess though...and well, i can only give her support as a brudder

i am in desparate need for lessons on how to prevent adopted child from being in the "mess" that is

angry about giving away and angry with their adopted parents

i cannot understand how these things can happened when

adopted parents save to give the best to their adopted kids

why?
