Can. You can carry a bolt-on turbo kit with you and install onto practically anything, maybe a public bus?

Even better, slap on a turbo for ur engine and carry a few other turbo kits in ur boot, also can go faster :D

if get caught? fine ar? or demerit?

It will be cheaper then buying a TC car and its insurance.

Heard the fine is cheaper or about the price of an illegal exhaust mod but if kana accident, then your insurance though cheap but may be void unless go to your workshop to do a clean-up act first.

alot of problem will come 1, as the car is not built to withstand turbo wear and tear.

be prepare to slap a few k extra on maintianece, and modding of other part in order to support the turbo

first of all, consider the NA engine's compression ratio.

then its not as simple as buy a turbo kit and bolt it on and it all works, no it doesn't work like that.

You have to swap out your headers for an exhaust manifold, then you have to find a place to hide the turbo in the engine bay, then, your ecu needs to be tuned.

Its not slap on and go, this one not bicycle.

and bascially said bye bye to warrently, insurance, and said hi to all the trouble coming, like police stop, keep going back to workshop, the hassle of removing the turbo when selling your car these all.

not worth the trouble and money la, bascially it still cost around a tc charged stock car.

those ppl in america buy lancer at dirt cheap price like maybe $5000 usd? for a 2nd hand

adding all the turbo these all, and killing the engine to them is nothing, as the car is so cheap.

Agree, most current generation internal combustion engines already come with high compression ratios stock. If one really hope to make any gains out of a turbo, surely there would be a need to swap for low compression pistons. Even so, i don't think you can set too high a boost especially if yours is a cast aluminium engine block. Cast iron block maybe.

No its not legal to add turbo to your car cause its originally non turobcharged. However, if you ignore LTA's regulations, you can definitely add a turbo to your car. ITs just how much boost you can run only.

Cannot be too greedy on boost lor. NA cars have higher compression so boost have to be lower. Limited to ususally around 0.5 bars of boost for engine around ~10.5:1 compression.

AS for getting caught, well, unlikely unless you are seeking attention. IF the car is configured as a sleeper like soft exhaust and no loud BOV (route BOV back to intake should be ok), no neon lights etc should be ok. Police won't know if you have turbo or not. Won't care as well.

But TS's car looks damm "bright" on the road with all those stickers. Sure catch attention. Thus.... well.... I don't know.....
