I sat in my friend 1.6na civic (current model).. it sure sound quieter than a mazda ..maybe need to sit a few more times to be sure

Hi Budgetice,

 

You are driving the mazda6 2018 2.0 or 2.5l now ??

 

Oops indeed the case cos I have aged but sharp ears but strange and only test drove both by the civic was certainly noiser and hollow .. thought the various online reviews albeit 2.5l turbo vs 2.0l accord turbo is that even the latter compared to civic is higher NVH.

 

Honda has never been a quiet cars except the accord that I owned against another 2 concerto ex/exi and 1 odyssey.

Noted and tks .. finger-crossed then until collextion time in Oct/Nov.

 

Indeed SP and other nvh fixes helps ... like my forester fxt now which is the quietest ride I ever owned in a long time.

Are you sure? I driven the civic as company car for more than a year. I really cannot agree with your comment. Maybe i have only driven my FL mazda 6 for less than a month. Need to off my music to be double sure for both cars.

Try loh... skyactiv is known to be noisy.. my last car, mazda 3... will have aloud cracking sound when cold start..

Because it is 3 mah haha... that is known to you ba. Maybe you should be comparing if you own a mazda 6 before. Is like i am complaining an accord when i own a city before. Edited by Kenomi

VFM .. best in class for this price range

Relax.... sound levels is subjective..

 

True that mazda 3 is kinda noisy when ride in the rear. I rem the se commenting its like tat. Sporty sound mah. I was like err.

 

W213 e class e200 also kinda noisy as well. Honest truth. My friend did said that to me when i gave him a lift b4. And ermm i have a admit its a little noiser than the f10. The soundproofing is good but when the doors are opened. I hear the engine sound abit like diesel noise. But i swear its not a diesel car....

Hmmm... but i didnt change the mazda 3 because of the noise .. Earn money dont spend, then bring it down the coffin with me meh?

 

I lose more money on ICE than cars lol

Hey man, do you know much TEK is charging for Brilla and often should we do it?

Got my ride for 5 months already and scratches have started appearing and am thinking of sending the car for car grooming.

$160 for a 4 times maintenance set. Every time need to pay $80 labor. So work out to be $120 each time.

 

I'm thinking of getting them to do it every servicing or alternate.
