I drive a 2015 Mazda 6 and would like to know where I can buy the honeycomb mesh grill for this car. Thank you.

I think JDM autocar has it, saw before in facebook ads. But I haven’t try to contact to check. Do share too if you found the workshop and price. Good luck!

@zenooi thanks for the info. Found them on FB. Will see if I can find any pics of the grill for the Mazda6.

Hi all, thanks again to zenooi and dobiemkz for the info regarding the mesh grill. JDM autocare sells the grill but stock is expected to arrive next month. I’ve decided to wait for JDM as installation of the grill requires the removal of the front bumper and I prefer to get it done by them. Cheers.

Mind sharing how much it cost for the parts and installation from JDM? I am planning to change next time too

Hello folks , I scaped my car against the car park wall. Need to go fix. Any recommended work shop? Fix exterior outside won’t void the warranty right?

@Yjunz I went to this workshop MS Panel in Ubi for a similar problem. You can WhatsApp the boss, Mr Loh @9143 6063 on the damage and he’ll give you a quote for the repair. I was quite happy with the repair done on my car but good to get quotes from  other  workshops as well.

@Yjunz JDM Autocare also do repairs/fix-up for such damages.

I have some questions regarding the Mazda 6.

1. Does the 11 speakers come with sub? If not, can add on?

2.The Hella 820 camera that comes with it can record 24hrs? googled say yes but SA doubted.

3. it comes with 17 inch rim 17x7.5J. If I were to upgrade it to say 18/19, will that means the rims must be 18 x7.5J or 19x7.5J?

4. Anyone with Mazda 6 on 19' can share their experience in term of comfort and FC?

For no. 2, I think Hella 820 cannot continuous recording (at full 30fps) for 24 hrs, but most likely can be in stand-by parking mode for 24 hrs (still subjected to battery voltage) with monitoring (that is, only records impact onto car or movement of person or vehicle in front of camera). 1, Car has no sub. Add on, I read there's some difficulty dealing with the factory Bose system. Maybe its easier if you don't have it.

2. Good idea to have a separate battery to support your recording camera or at the very least a voltage cut-off.

3. I think 7.5 or 8 inch width is still acceptable.

4. 19 is aesthetically nice but its heavier and slower so it costs fuel consumption and the reduced sidewall also brings a harsher ride. I downgraded from stock 19 to aftermarket 18 and am seeing about 10% FC reductions and comfort improvements I can't quantify.
