What is your new rims cross-section width and offset?

Rim width is 8.5". Inset (or negative offset) is 38mm.

Thanks for the info. But i think the offset should read as positive 38mm; because negative offset will be indicated with a "-" sign in front of the number.
Enjoy your ride.[:)] [thumbsup]

Should be +38. It is just that the box states inset rather than outset. But if it is inset, that the wheels would be sticking out too much.

Forget the price.

Look how nice it is.

:D

Fortunately 2.5 and aside the $, I will not recommend it for already struggling 2.0.

It will be even slower pickup and increased FC as well as more harsh and noisy.  We cannot see how nice the rims/tyres are when driving but have to tolerate drop in performance and refinement while suffering from higher petrol $.

Cheers.

Fk510 is a good tire. Probably the only one in falken range I would buy.
anyway 225/50/17 is the correct size.

Mazda 6 is using 225/55-17.

Wow stock rim size for Mazda 6 is 19 inch?? That’s huge. Those  19 inch SA25r rims must be very expensive.

Seems that Mazda cars official rims sizes are mostly increment of 2 sizes between the base size and upgrade size.
For example the Mazda 6, CX5, CX8 etc, their base rim size is 17" and the upgrade size is 19".

For Mazda 3, CX3, CX30 etc, their base rim size 16" and upgrade size is 18".

Driving experience has definitely improved. Steering is more stable and more precise. Stopping is also a lot more responsive. Previously, the tyres would start to squeal when going round the bend at 60 km/h. Now, there is very good grip and can confidently go round the bend.

Mazda stock rims weigh 13.8 kg. The Wedssport rims are 9.16 kg. So maybe slight savings in FC. 😉

Oh ok I see, then if want to downsize how? Also by 2 sizes? Although I think Hardly anyone will downsize 😆

Wedssport SA25 19" were $525 each.

Stamford Tyre recommended Rays Volkracing Forged Rims G025 at $1,200 each. But couldn't afford.

For sure improvement roadholding and do monitor after few mths with new tyres being used to share if FC indeed improved or even maintained with lighter rims and 19" as compared to stock 17" ..  new tyres for initial few tanks will always be quiet and better FC.

Cheers.

Was using stock 19" before changing. Rim was wobbling, so had to change.

I think FC likely to increase. Handling is better, so pushing the car harder. 😀
