ok..i forgot the time. but seems like 10. u r probably right. ^_^

The diners that are quite boring. We went to Mel's coz wifey wanted loved the Mel's in L.A. or Tokyo (cannot rem too). The standard is not there but c'mon, what so difficult about making burgers and hotdogs with soda?? The rest does not look too interesting too. Generally, I will give the foods a miss.

Thrill ride.

How about Shrek? And the SplashZone thingy. :p

not a very good experience cos i kena con to sit at the 1st row... the best position is at the center row. just like watching movie in Cinema. as for the water splashing effect... its nothing so great to shout about... just like our car windscreen water spraying nozzle but install on the back of the seat...

The splash zone part is the one where KIDS LOVE TO GET DRENCHED, Nice.

But too much Gunpowder used.

but problem is, going USS alone seems to be a bit weird ... if go with Family/ friends/ couple, most likely play in groups/ pair.. thats y the single rider Q is very empty for people like me... [laugh][laugh]

Going alone is okay; as I also like to test my "willpower" to keep taking on those scary rides!! No one pressures me to go on the ride, just me against myself [laugh]

But single rider means they pair you up with somebody to sit together?? Got chance to score randomly-assigned hot babe or not? During scary points on the ride, she hug you very tight?? [laugh]

and you still has to pay for the Sentosa entrance fee.

This is the most ridiculous admission fee that a Singaporean has to pay to enter an island own by Singapore, even if you are just going to the seaside to enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze.

I've never been to the new universal studios at sentosa, and have a couple of questions to ask.

Is there such a thing as just paying the entrance fee, go in look-see? Then the rides pay extra?

Or buying an entrance ticket includes some rides as well?

Best time to go? I heard there's a certain time that they allow people to go in and look-see...

Thanks for the tips. Lazy to surf through their website info, and this forum is so informative and throws up some nuggets of 'insider' info sometimes [laugh]

Doing latest update.

Current prices:

Weekdays: $66.

Weekends: $72.

Special occasions (PH, grand opening, etc~): Prices differs.

All tickets includes ALL rides, except for Amber Rock Climb(Rock climbing - $5), and Food and Beverages.

All rides closes at 1900hrs.

After 1900hrs, entrance fee will be only $5. But, it is only limited to the Hollywood section.

Those who don't know - Hollywood is the Gift Shop, some restaurants, and Mel's Drive In(Fast Food).

Definitely this applies to the weekends as there is fireworks every weekend at 9pm for 10mins at the waters.

Concerning whether it applies to weekdays, I have forgotten, sorry about that.

Opening timings: Daily.

9am or 10am to 10pm. The security guards and patrols will start inviting you out when the time is up.

Did I miss out anything? [cool]
