I wanted to book on 17th but online say fully booked. went down and try to buy then they say still have. but beware, that day I went down, the tickets for that day was already sold out even before ticketing office was opened for business. many ended up leaving frustrated. ↡ Advertisement
Ender Hypersonic December 12, 2010 Share December 12, 2010 just a reminder, try to go with a smaller group and the members in the group is able to play the rides individually... many popular rides have another Q for single rider... u almost dont Q if you dont mind to enjoy these rides with someone u dont know. for eg, my friends Q for 60+ minutes for the Egyptian Mummy ride cos he want to play it with his daughter and wife... for me, i went for 3 rounds within 30 mins , 1st round with my daughter (on diff ride) and 2nd and 3rd round myself... another 1 is the boat ride at Jurassic park... took only 5 mins to reach me when i use single ride but if you go by group... prepare to Q for 60mins on a weekend I though that special Q was for the express ticket holder? Which they paid extra for it.
Simplesilver 1st Gear December 12, 2010 Share December 12, 2010 All rides and games closed at 7pm. U can purchases a S$5 ticket and enter from 7pm onward to go in makan or take picture. Fireworks at 9.30pm Dont need to waste so much money for the entrance fee....... The fireworks, a everyday thing?

Tigershark1976 Turbocharged December 12, 2010 Share December 12, 2010 (edited) I though that special Q was for the express ticket holder? Which they paid extra for it. confirm lah, I just went this month... unless they change the rule few days ago... some rides or attraction, where more than 6 seats per rides is available. There will be 3 types of Q, normal, express and single. the single Q is to ensure than all seats is ocupied each round. Just imagine, the boat ride in Jurassic park is able to cater for 8 pax per ride. but each round, the boat is only ocupied by 5 to 6 pax (1 family or a group of friends)... there will be 2 to 3 empty seats wasted. if they could fill up to the max for each rounds, that could save them cost and lesser waiting time to the rest of the customer, win win for everyone. So, if you dun mind to play alone, you can expect to clear the whole universal studio Singapore much earlier and go for min 2nd round or even 3rd rounds within a day.. Tigershark1976 Turbocharged December 12, 2010 Share December 12, 2010 arrr, I see.. Good tip.. Mean no need to waste money on express tix. but problem is, going USS alone seems to be a bit weird ... if go with Family/ friends/ couple, most likely play in groups/ pair.. thats y the single rider Q is very empty for people like me... Bbl Neutral Newbie December 13, 2010 Share December 13, 2010 Haha I thought Mummy ride was the only good one for adults. Everything else was for kids. Went with a couple of friends and was very disappointed that the roller coasters were not working. And the river rafting ride was under repairs as well. But I guess you pay money to see the architecture and the sets more than anything else. Couple of performances were very fun too.
