Nowadays, most gov stuff can be done online including road tax renewal. I have been renewing my road tax online since my 1st car in 2006

 

and sad to say not everyone is lucky enough to have a com and internet connection.....

it is still a process, which they have to learn the very 1st time when they own a car no?

same thing, how u renew insurance, pay income tax, pay bills, etc. all are processes that might differ from one to the other.

as to how long you get back the deposit.. i not sure, it should be less than 1 week.....

 

if the quota is 100 bids... they will take the 100 highest bid as reference and the COE amount will be the lowest amount of these 100 bids

now i got my COE thru individual bidding.... and the dealer knows it.... and i want to buy this car.... everything is in order... but come delivery date... something happen.. and the car cannot be delivered or even worse the company close down..... after is a pte ltd.. you can't do anything.....and your COE is gonna expire... how?

 

this will be a very likely scenario...

 

apply extension? yes...

 

now how to determine extension... and should the same extension be granted to someone that try to buy a car on the 1st month he got the COE as compared to the person that bought his car on the 5th month of his COE...

Whether to approve is up to LTA. As long as u can prove that u have made all the necessary effort to buy car since day 1, i don't think LTA has reason to reject.

There are a lot CC giving computer leeson. Mayb that person has close relative or kids who knows.
