spend this time before u go and slp, to google for workshops that do flushing or are familiar with your car. Go back to that same workshop they will deny everything and smoke u again. waste time.

5AT != CVT with 5 virtual gear ratios (I guess he's referring to this)

Pls get the workshop to flush it out and replace with the proper ATF.

Mind sharing the name of the workshop?

I will always bring my own auto transmission oil and engine oil and insist for using my own oil for servicing. They kpkbI tell them " you want do my business not? Don't want I go find others do, don't need to kp so much, its my car and my own choice, take it or leave it."

End up they lan lan Sub-thumb and use My own oil. They charge for labour which calculate and turn out to be more expensive than using their oil provided, but spend Abit more $ to have a peace of mind is worth it.

My manual call for JWS 3309, which is also T-IV, WS put in SP3, 1st few days Ok, after 1 week, can feel 1st gear change to 2rd gear, and the feel gets worst each day, than follow by loss of power, and is like 3rd gear cannot get into 4th gear and when I step harder, engine roar louder but nothing change, engaged rev gear car like jump a little. FC increase by about 10%.

This is what happen to me................true or not I don't know, because the car not dead yet. [laugh]

ya..happened to me..when i trust the ws, say i go lunch..maybe they add metal...cos this ws always engine overhaul for commercial vehicle...so they can add special for my car...

Civic fd 1.6A...

Confirm. 5spd auto

If it is the Jazz/Fit, they might confuse since PI Fit is CVT. KM Jazz is 5 spd auto.

Shops be more professional in checking info and not just guess back or BS. They are killing their own business by trying not to invest in some car data manuals. Very short sighted in planning and marketing.
