Omg! I went for the NG option. My guess is COE will not increase as most who want to change car already did it last few months.

Yes. Specs for Madza 5 are better than Wish. It is more spacious, comes with 2nd row aircon, Sun roof and slide door. The only plus point for Wish is, it is more reliable.

Bro, 7 years ago I also face the same dilemma where the COE market was skyrocketing and i did not take gtd COE. I worry can’t get my COE back then and I top up 3k to get my it. Now I make it a point that if the gtd COE too up does not exceed $2k I will go for it. That what I did during the last expo roadshow.

I think they just drop margin and the rest fron COE price. The last bid was a shocker to many. I went to a few showroom to test drive all the SE said sure the last bid confirm going up but it drop over 6k.

My guess is it will drop or at most maintain until after CNY.

I would say no point to go for GTD COE of 5k, too high, $99,988 is good price.

 

Just try your luck. You never know. Actually car market is weak now as many have already got their new ride.

Exactly bro. If I top up 5k, it will cross 100k mark no point. Tt 5k can use to do up my leather seat and rims.

What's Borneo motors booking fee like?

20k?

 

I don't mind gambling on the wish non guaranteed

Yup margins are razor thin on the wish. Good time to buy. Can’t really lose much. Basic cost without coe is almost 46k. I would guess that for Borneo not to lose money they need another $5k for commissions, storage and other costs. So as long as coe is around $49k they still can honor the 99988 price.

 

Read in another post of that production for wish already stopped as of 31oct 2017. Thus all Borneo needs to do is to get a one time big order to toyota to get substantial discounts and clear the stock

I believe COE needs to go below 49K, else based on your costing breakdown it is already coming to 100k which BM will make a loss. They probably targeting 40-45K COE maybe.

I didnt see any booking fee in the contract. Just a 140 for registration fee.

It's either 5k. 10k. 15k. Or 20k

 

I think for conti like Porsche etc it's much higher .

 

If it's like 5k or 10k I don't mind putting my money there for 4 months for gamble. Maybe will get the wish to replace my 9 year Ody.

 

Otherwise I'll just wait for my Ody to expire and change then.

Later I go back and read carefully. Alternatively Mazda 5. It is more spacious, sun roof amd more power plus with an additional aircon blower
