Yes, using DEQ-P7650.

check on the grounding.. this processor is not easy to fix. when i sold mine to a friend, he faces aeroplane noise and went to pioneer. the senior engr there share with him that this unit's grounding is very sensitive and will break the fuse easily.

To be fair to your installer, famous in this line and experience with this processor is 2 different story unless they are part of pioneer pro shop

as with sound processor, things become "clearer". usually the highs are pushed higher, hence most will find that the music coming from the radio stations reception worse off than before.

to check, play your favorite disc to check if the processor is introducing the noise, or if it's the usual radio static noise.

it's not too uncommon for the processor or even the amps to be the cause of noise.

Hi All,

I went back to my installer. This time I din ask the boss but ask the staffs. He say cannot be unless "behind din connect". [confused]

Anyway, he took about 20 min then come and passed me a wire say his colleague din connect one wire from my processor to the antenna. Hence, the reception was bad. Now he took out the "original" wire and made the connection back. Now its clearer liao. Need to monitor again when I go MSCP.

Like some bros recommended, dun pai sei to go back again to check. Else I am paying more (install processor) but get lousy SQ from my radio. [furious]
