Sosaria Twincharged February 24, 2011 Share February 24, 2011 Would like to find out what's the best value-for-money, and reliable netbook out there, based on actual user experience. Or what's the worse type that I should avoid? Intending to get one for primary-level child to type out homework, etc., possibly during the upcoming tech/gadget expo. ↡ Advertisement

The latest Netbook CPU is that dual core NT550. I found Netbook cheaper in Malaysia after comparing the prices. Even for Dell, online price for its Netbook is cheaper in Malaysia than in Singapore. I like Lenovo Netbook though. Regards,

Lovethecars Clutched February 24, 2011 Share February 24, 2011 why not bigger one or pc? so small cause stress to their little eyes leh agree with the others... it won't cost much to purchase a laptop. Afterall netbook is slow in speed and like what Jman888 mentioned, the screen is small and it will strain their eyes... I think the price difference is worth paying coz it's more lasting compared to netbook?

Shicyj Neutral Newbie February 24, 2011 Share February 24, 2011 Recommend start with PC first. Primary school no need to do notebook/netbook. Later throw the netbook 1 side to go play with friends then you see your money .

Sosaria Twincharged February 24, 2011 Author Share February 24, 2011 why not bigger one or pc? so small cause stress to their little eyes leh Good point. I was thinking of less clutter of desk space, and portability (dad and mum can easily borrow for use... ) ↡ Advertisement
