Did u test drive the current Jetta?...I find the single clutch draggy but do not have the chance to test drive the dual clutch (if technical term not used properly, apologies...just repeating what SE said)...;)

 

Haha.... You almost got all right correct except one. For the VW, I would go for the 1.2L TSI Polo. Its either 1 of the 2 sedan or the the cute Polo turbo polo.

My wife also like it, but they dun comes with much features thou.

But on the other hand, if the so called coe keep on rising like share market, do u still think they will sacrified their profit margin just to make the 1st shipment booking happy all the way.

yep, the base model of i45 and high spec elantra with S/R..

 

personally i don't like i45.. to me i find it ugly so i will go for the elantra.

 

and 20k is quite a huge difference. that's about additional $200/month on installment..

Bro, ur choice of car colour is the same as mine. Let's hope we can get to drive our car on the June delivery D-day. And of cos, let's not forget our COE too. Haha

 

Look like Black & white are colours that are the most difficult colours to mainten. And the new car have to gone thru long distance & thru various ocean on the container ship inorder to reach Spore shore with the over exposure of salt water wind which might affect the body and the paint in the long run. Think I would go for a full car protection package once I get the car.

Maybe we can go for a group package and might get further discount. What u guys say?

Yes, u r right. other than that, we also missed the shark fin antenna, rear centre passenger seat head-rest, nu engine, GDI, 17" sport rim, choice of leather seat and HID etc. ....many more and price change, change and change. am i right?

if this time, coe wouldn't drop, i do not know how much again need to top up liao. since kmc set a rebate only at $35,000, which is far far behind the present coe cost.... btw how many of Elantra 2011 buyer bid successfully this round?

haha yes i agree. our choice of leather seat colour is only black. and the seat belt for the rear centre passenger seat is the 2 point. not the 3 point. disappointing.

but how about the size constraints? the polo is smaller than the cruze and fluence. if you have 2 small kids should be okay la, or no kids also can. if not might be a problem.

i got black when i booked that time, white was sold out totally.

I'm jobless, hard to find a job when reach at age of 50.

 

From my point of view, unless the COE more than 60K otherwise, KMC even sell the first bitch without profit, rather than let the stock seat in warehouse.

Also, since lot of ppl know the launch of new model and if there's rare on the road. User might have a bad image that the new model is not selling well.

This is what KMC do not want to happen.

I must say, look at the coe situation now, the demand is much much more than supply, and also from LTA fact and fig for the past 10 years, coe quota cut tremedously. Just look at my attached chart u will believe me what i said, the 60K cat A is not possible lol.

Actually, about 1 in 5 COE's are taken up by the taxi companies.

 

If we take them away, the prices wouldn't be as high.

Sure no problem Bro but to my understanding when our new car arrive in Spore. The ride should have waxed again to make it shine, Dont think Komoco will shame their reputation.

 

Maybe we can go for the paint protection after a few months, can try Zainol. Currently my ride is Black, Every time when it rain heavily, tends to have those dirty water mark. See ald also faint but to wipe it off.

Yup changing to new number plate. Thought of bidding a set nice numbers but holding back to see if the current new numbers are nice. I saw from one motoring, now bidding number plate start with SKC ald.
