I discovered my car's carpets have been soaked by the aircon water. Maybe the pipe blocked.

Anyone got this experience? know what is the issue?

This could be a case of block air-con pipe. Too much dirt accumulated on the pipe such that the water cannot be drain out. Got to send the air-con for servicing.

For stop gap measure, ask your mechanic if it is possible to plug an airgun (commonly found in workshop) to the air-con pipe and tey to clear the blockage. there should be some subber tubing that can be plug out under your glove compartment.

Yeah i checked with the shop, they said most likely the pipe blocked and need to do maintenance.

I guess its time to do it since my car is turning 4 soon!

Sorry to dig up this old thread.

Am having water accumulation under the carpet in my 6.5 year old Toyota Wish. Should I bring it to my mechanic or to an air-cond workshop?

my air-con blockage was cleared using the air-con method and all is still well after 2 years. Good and effective way to clear clockage.

Ty say "maintenence" means at least $30-$40. But ty never say its just a 5 min job of using airgun to blow tru the ac drain pipe to clear or plug back the rubber pipe to the drainage tray only 1 min job. [laugh][laugh][laugh]
