Now apple is facing shortages, everyone wants the newest, the best, the fastest. How much markup will you pay for an Ipad 2 knowing that it wont come to SIngapore's shores anytime soon? say you can get it within next week

It's being sold is US for:

iPad with Wi-Fi (Connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi. )

16G: US$499.00

32GB: US$599.00

64GB: US$699.00

iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G (Connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi and over 3G cellular networks with AT&T or Verizon Wireless. (3G service sold separately.) )

16GB: US$629.00

32GB: US$729.00

64GB: US$829.00

I guess about SG$100 additional over the US pricing should be a reasonble premium.

Why pay so much for first mover pride!

I am sure it will arrive by April officially.

Furthermore its NOT limited edition, so I will not pay more for it.

The demand will not be great, as many already has ipad1. Stocks will likely be more widely available this time.

I believe many would pay a higher premium for the so called exclusivity to won one that everyone around them can only salivate and envy. It just like a bragging right <_<

Anyway, the hype over the new Ipad 2 is not that overwhelming as the original version.

The question isn't with how much are you willing to pay but how far would you be willing to go to get or rather be "the first" to get your hands on the iPad 2 zzz. Seriously for some of you ppl who actually thought of camping out , this is what I have to say for you:"Woah, you are so free and in life there us absolutely nothing more in life for you to look forward to but to spend a quarter of your lifespan queueing up for a stupid piece of gadget "??? I witnessed the great wooos and haaaas when iPhone 3 was first introduced to Spore and now which I personally own a iphone4 upon walking in M1 store causally on one of my leisure trip to Tampines mall, find it overrated but no bad for a typical touch screen . Recommended but not worth queueing n camping out for. My first reaction when I first saw someone rubbing hard on a bigger version of what you call iPad, I was like whatever Zzzzz . Sourgrapes??? You ain't even close . But if it was given free, I will take la. Hahaha

don't trust the media reports....

I was in US when Ipad was launched. Singapore people like see Ipad extremely rare and precious, but in the US I see tons of Ipads on a lot of shops, even in places like bestbuy.....
