Can. Most coolants are glycol and other chemicals pre-mixed with distilled water.

So it'a ok to top up abit with distilled water. Tap water and others are not advisable for long term. Can build up minerals in your radiator.

Twincharged

I heard that best is to add distilled water. But if u use tap water then hope nothing goes wrong lo. My previous car on tap water for 10 years also nothing happened to the radiator.

Sorry,

Maybe sound a little stupid, but where to get distilled water?

Supermarket got sell leh bro.. But be careful not to buy the wrong type.. supermarkets have distilled and mineral water.. distilled water is cheaper than mineral water also.. I think less than $0.70 per 1.5L bottle.

I think normally, they will add. If not, just remind them. Usually, FOC. But if your service interval is long, or if you push your car hard, the coolant water may run lower than the recommended level before servcing.

actually , it shouldnt be low.

if low means somewhere could be leaking....

mine the coolant level never change, always the same level, as if totally seal.
