5936 1st Gear April 2, 2011 Share April 2, 2011 Go back to AD WS if still under warranty. If not, solar film shops will remove for you, and would be nice if you get a replacement film from them. DIY- peel them out, starting from the sides and corners.

Kieran1975 1st Gear April 12, 2011 Author Share April 12, 2011 Hi all, Thanks for your input, due to the 2 minor cracks on my front wind screen the installer advise me to change a new wind screen as removing the film may cause more damages to the cracks. End up paying $107 to my insurance workshop to replace the wind screen.....
Jefkking Clutched April 16, 2011 Share April 16, 2011 (edited) "Bubbles" due to poor workmanship. (The SE give you freebie of solar firm deducted from his commission of sales of car to you & your finance loan interest commission) Professional solar film installer will do it in dust free and air-con room (NOT open air nor direct sun) and usually around S$ 150 for front winscreen with warranty period of between 5 to 7 yrs should the defect due to mfgr or workmanship defective ) and MUST psss LTA requirments with the gauage testing of light transmission of 50% or more required. If it failed to meet 50% light transmission, then during your Vehicle Inspection on 3rd yr of aged of your car or when you pass thru the check points heading to JB, you may get block by LTA staffs and they'll issue you a letter for Inspection & fine was S$ 100 + forking of inspection fees at your own costs. So make sure it's in compliance with LTA requirements. Edited April 16, 2011 by Jefkking
