My results (cefiro 2.3v6)

Before acetone: 7.5 to 8.5km/l (using ron95)

After first tank with acetone: 7.8pm/l (ron92)

Now on the second tank with acetone. Will post results later. My ratio used is 1.5ml/l.

Do u think I shld increase or decrease dosage or maintain and see if FC will improve?

Wife commented that there is slightly more torque in drive and engine felt a little smoother...

Second tank with acetone: 9.8km/L (ron92)

Will up dosage to 1.8ml/L and see if can improve further

my meter now is 45602

previous 45086

traveled 516, today refill full 29.345L, therefore about 516/29.345 = 17.58km/L

wow, increased again, nice. personal record for this car

my meter now is 46053

previous 45602

traveled 451, today refill full 28.637L, therefore about 451/28.637 = 15.75km/L

dropped after using Levo92, previously using old formula, possible levo new formula contain ace already

will add half amount of ace and monitor again

The acetone sold is not pure acetone.

Pure Acetone need license to import and its a controlled item by CNB.

Its a component that is used to process cocaine...

When you import you need to get license from CNB.

That few ml of acetone for a full tank of fuel..... even if it had a RON of above 120.... it'll not help any. Unless it works in some other magical form....... don't waste your time & effort.

I find it hard to believe in 40% + of fuel savings.......

Anyway, I read in the long thread here that some are asking for toluene. Yes, it is available here locally. In fact, it is a proven race gas mix. I've personally used it many times and even lugged 20 ltrs of the stuff into Thailand, as I needed to mix 5 ltrs for every tank of 95 Gasohol, to get the RON close to 97 at least. (That's what my car is tuned for)

Here's where to get it if anyone is interested. They do have other options of race fuel.... but I've not tried them out and cannot comment. (more expensive too)

Basically, it doesn't get you more mileage (well maybe if you go easy on the pedal but that is not the intent of getting the RON up))..... If your car can benefit in terms of power/torque from increased RON, then it'll be helpful. Else, it'll probably not gain much and only perhaps make your engine run abit smoother.

If anything, it doesn't save you money..... but adds a whole lot more to your costs per tank. But I use it for different purposes. (definitely not saving fuel)

For those small bottles of octane boosters you see on the shelves...... forget about them as they bump up your tank of fuel only that slightly. (probably less than 0.2 RON). What you feel after adding is only probably the lubrication properties that makes the car feel smoother & quieter. Don't fool yourselves and end up with a blown engine if you're running a highly tuned car and thinking those small bottles are gonna help.
