My initial top up with acetone didn't yield the said results of the engine feeling more torquey or decrease in FC... My tank is 60L and I put in about 95ml of acetone...

Anyway I'll do the same and monitor...

today top up full tank and found that my mileage increased slightly

used to be 15.77/L, now 16.1/L

for this tank, i turn on aircon much more as it is hot and meet a couple of long traffic jam

and i also heavy footed recently.

will test again using 640 ratio, 1.5625ml/L of fuel, previous tank add only 1ml/L of fuel

maybe too little ace previously, didnt see the kind of 30% improvement some bros here achieved

maybe those whose car already have high mileage will not see much different since already high

Ken bro I just bought a bottle of pure acetone from vivo guardian.. It's in 80ml bottle and cost $2.70. Actually alot of tested had been made whether acetone will melt gaskets and rubber lining. It doesn't. And also it won't detioriate anything. Will try for a tank and tell you the result!

what does the bottle look like and under which shield? I went to a couple of guardian and the staff did not even know what acetone was

Bro, I was at Guardian (Centerpoint) at 12pm and bought a bottle of Acetone (another 4 bottles left on its shelf) and last Wed, I saw Guardian @ NEX are selling it too. Try calling the outlet before going down.

Good luck.

Hold your horses bros.

As mentioned, I bought a 80ml Acetone from Guardian (Centerpoint) for $2.70 @ 12pm. But 10mins ago, I saw Unity @ AMK Hub is selling 100ml Acetone for only $2.65 !!! [bigcry]

3 bottles left as per 4:30pm. Better be fast to grab it before it's gone.

this thing really works! 1st time i put 40 ml cos i had 1/2 tank left! my engine was smoother and the engine seems to be less strenous but milage was ruffly the same. nx top up i put in 80 ml and when my tank level gauge was showing slightly above half the distant travelled was oredy at 28+ when normally it will be below 250 at half mark. [thumbsup][thumbsup]

Turbocharged

Before avg 13l/100km

After 11.2l/100km

Latest 12l/100km

effect sure have..better throttle response and smoother rev still there.

i think got to find that 'sweet spot' that is the right amount for the car. my latest dose is probably too much.. fc increase though not like original..

next tank got to reduce the dose a little and see how it goes...

Will be trying out. Just added 35ml to 45lt yesterday. Will be driving 1st time today. Since I dun travel much, the results will be out within 2 weeks...

My last 2 tanks without Acetone. No pumping of tires.

606.8km / 37.66lt = 16.11km/l

624.6km / 39.232lt = 15.92km/l

My usual average is 14 - 15km/l, maybe the last two tanks I was driving more slowly or the weather is good? 80% highway.

Latio CVT YOM 05.

Latest update with 70ml (added another 35ml after 100km) added on 23 Apr: 599.2km / 36.727lt = 16.31km/l. Not much drastic improvement

Just added another 70ml see how the milage goes now.

Butt dyno not accurate so no comment on that. :)

Hopefully can see improvements...

So what is the ratio that one has to add Acetone to the car? Does the type of Fuel that you have in the tank before that matter? 95/98?

Assume that you pump up the tank full first then add the acetone right?

Meaning? Have you tried before? Feel that somewhat the saying that necessity is the mother of invention...

the calculation if i am not wrong is : amount of petrol in tank x 1000/640

eg : if i pump 40 liters , 40 x 1000/640 = 62.5ml
