Vehicle Inspection Failed due to Tinting

Why can't motorist go to an authorised tinting installer, these guys know LTA requirements arrival and acceptance, unless you go Bolehland to install, some JB w/s technician also well versed with Singapore car issues with LTA, every 3, 6/9 years car inspection .

Just follow LTA tinting standard protocol, and your car will passed inspection every time.😄

IMHO.
Any idea of film that can stick onto existing film to reduce the VLT but at the same time can be peel off easily ?  Or all films can do that ?

Singapore Tinting Shop will warn Customers if they install the illegal Tint,but a certain Group of Owners are very Stubborn..wanted to try their Luck with LTA.

This group of customers want their glass to be completely dark, can't see through at all. So they can park their car at one corner of east coast park car park for CCA at night.

1st 3 years of Mini, I use illegal tint (maybe 70% VLT).

It is so much cooler to drive during the day

Yup.

I dun want say 100%. But at least 90% of those that have failed tinted do it knowingly.

Just aim the aircon vents directly at your hands and wrists area. Even if put 24 degrees aircon still will cool down very fast. 🤣

Part of the reason is Euro setting in ECU.

Must use OBD to change it

It has nothing to do with air cond.

Afternoon heat can’t get into the car.

It is even cooler in MY Fren Triton with a darker tint

My BMW changed also useless...set to 19°c,cannot even match my Camry in 24°c.

I remember someone done a Test on Aircon between Lexus LS430,Mercedes Benz S-Class & BMW 7 Series,the Lexus came out top in Cooling,the worst is the BMW.
