Ahhoe Neutral Newbie July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Hi forumers here who has done some research. Wana have some quick responses. I have been ard looking for a 07 or 08 WISH but seems like there's not much in the market except for 05 and 06 models? And most of the salesperson are pushing which is more widely available in the market. - Is there a common problem for Wish which surfaces after some time? - Is there a common provblem for Stream after some time? - Stream is a bit on the higher side as compared to Wish but they generally have higher OMV value. True? - Base on paper, which ride provides better power? - What's your personal feel on each ride? - Wish seems to provide better rear boot space and Stream seems to lack of that but compensate with better road control (just my personal feel after test driving both). Any comments? Pros and Cons? - Which gives a better FC? (although i know its base on road usage and loading. ) ↡ Advertisement
Xcen Neutral Newbie July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Drove both before.... prefer driving a wish than a stream. the back of stream is very small as compared to wish.
Limxiaoming 2nd Gear July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Drove both before too. Wish is definately a better car in terms of space maximizing and interior setup. But I will get the stream solely based on outlook of the cars.
5936 1st Gear July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Go for Stream.
Brendon1980 Neutral Newbie July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 I recommend wish. FC has slight edge over stream. Resale value also not bad. Performance wise will not lose to stream.

Hamburger Hypersonic July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 average FC: Wish~ 11km Stream~ 9 km Hope this helps
Dankoo 4th Gear July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 (edited) FC quite subjective...I am getting 10-11 on my Stream RSZ with 17" rims... It depends on your foot, city or highways etc... Edited July 20, 2011 by Dankoo
Takumi21 2nd Gear July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 stream lah.. driven wish.. find it boring.. haha
The_Bear Turbocharged July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Get a Honda Crossroad. Best of both world. 4 disc brakes too.
Darryn Turbocharged July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 I have had a Wish since July '06 and been all over in it - now toucching 200,000 km. So far, besides consumables, all I have done is replace engine mounts. On 17" rims and a heavy foot I get 11.2-11.3 km a litre Is a VERY good car, although it's boring as crap, I don't regret getting it...would totally reccommend it. FWIW - my ex boss had the stream, was constantly complaining about FC, also he had BIG problems with engine mounts. He recently bought himself an Exiga GT..... Newkidontheblock Clutched July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 i used to drive a wish... a 2010 model.... sold it only 2 months back... when i advertised it online, i got many calls and appointments... so definitely the resale value is there... i've never driven a stream, so cant comment... but the wish is an excellent car... power wise, its more than sufficient... space wise, its as big as it can get (apart from getting a lorry) fuel consumption is freaking good for a car of that size... i cant quite remember how much, but i dont remember topping up my tank that often... theres the ECO mode, which makes the car really efficient... so if u have a family or anything, its really a car that will fulfill ur needs... Hiphiphoray 6th Gear July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Stream havent driven before so cant comment. Was given a replacement Wish to drive for 1 week while my car went for repairs. I should say the C.G. is rather high and rolling effect quite obvious. Sitting inside got this expose feeling. Maybe its the windows too big or the support pilar smaller as compare to a normal sedan car. FC is excellent tho.....
Ben5266 Supercharged July 20, 2011 Share July 20, 2011 Hi forumers here who has done some research. Wana have some quick responses. I have been ard looking for a 07 or 08 WISH but seems like there's not much in the market except for 05 and 06 models? And most of the salesperson are pushing which is more widely available in the market. - Is there a common problem for Wish which surfaces after some time? No comment - Is there a common provblem for Stream after some time? 3 years, 60k km. No problem, yet. - Stream is a bit on the higher side as compared to Wish but they generally have higher OMV value. True? KM's Stream has higher OMV than the rest. PI stream about the same as PI Wish. - Base on paper, which ride provides better power? Stream - What's your personal feel on each ride? Both also buay salah. I bought Stream, 3 years ago because BM's Wish was selling at the same price as KM's Stream where Stream's OMV was $2k higher. - Wish seems to provide better rear boot space and Stream seems to lack of that but compensate with better road control (just my personal feel after test driving both). Any comments? Pros and Cons? What boot space are you talking about? When 3rd row is up, no space for Stream. For wish, as good as none also. Want boot space will need to consider Picnic or Ody. But when 3rd row is down, cash and carry 40" TV also no problem. - Which gives a better FC? (although i know its base on road usage and loading. ) Wish wins by 1km/L at least. But Stream can do above 10km/L la... on 50-50 driving pattern.

The rest were with head. I'm selling it if you are interested. Yes the Head now rules the heart again... Edited July 20, 2011 by Tigerwoods
