Sometimes lower back pain may be due to torn or injured  strands of tendons anchoring the trapezius to the posterior illium...or got forbid fracture minute or hairline at the anchoring region.

Dont go spine all the time, can be elsewhere injured.

Speaking of injured strands of tendons, is there a remedy? just rest and massage?

Also, would the pain from injured strands of tendon be differentiable from other back pains?

I have pain in my shins and wonder is it tendon, muscle or fracture. pain is felt when walking or running.

I begin to suspect you are medically trained too. Not your first reply on medical opinions.

But trapezius don't touch the ilium bone... It's last anchored to your lower thoracic vertebrae. It usually causes thoracic back pain. not lower back pain.

I not sure. I only know the superficial muscles. You are right, superficially, trapezius do not reach the illum. Not sure if there are any ligament or tendons then. He writes like he knows it or have came across it. I have no knowledge in this area. I scrap thru my A&P.:D

If no corns or calluses,  usually meant that the movement posture is correct.
The next thing to look into exactly where the discomfort, is it on the bone or muscle.
Bone I cannot comment.
Muscle could be due to nerves from the back which is interconnected.
You can google on the TCM body chart for some information.

At times, the pain area may not be the problem area.

Yes lower back pain can come from dysfunctional gluteals or neck/thoracic back issues.

Then nevermind.
Just know that if one specific area has pain,  it could be due to another corresponding area elsewhere.

Yeah but pain in the thoracic region is also a big headache for most doctors since that part is very stable (compared to the rest of the spine) most of the time.

Since we're at it, doctors are very good with bones but when it comes to muscles/nerves they seem to be at a lost :XD:
