If the owner of the private company offers or recieves money to close a deal, since it is all his own money, can he be sued under CPIB law? After all, a person can use his own money whichever way he likes as long as nobody gets hurt physically?

So if someone offers the sole shareholder $$ to close the deal at the company's detriment, he is caught under section 157 companies act. but the practical question is who will complain? whether cpib will catch, i am not so sure.

 

2nd, let us consider why the director doesnt want to account for the full revenue in the company's books. tax evasion?
