In the marine term, its called double banking. [laugh] Its quite widely practised in SG with little docking space in the shipyards. Sometimes even triple banking.

But double parking is a big no-no cos it obstructs traffic.

double banking is what we do best for naval vessels [rolleyes]

A regular nite out for me too and my family for Tau-huay wannabees, this kinda parking is normal, U can see from the earlier car-lot was empty, so he might be sitting-in guest, many cars parked like that wif handbrake off the pedal.

Nothing unusual and no need to post like Audi owner is an offender.

He just uprated his tyres & rims to 19" pieces and doesn't wanna risk scratching them, so he parks "a little" further away from the curb?? [grin]

so the driver should be described as a rich parking idiot? [:p]

Another parking idiot (No offence to our bro Parkingidiot) .

My guess is that the fella must have double-parked beside another car and the latter had already been driven off leaving his Audi in an irritating spot.

Most of the folks who parked like that will be conscious of the situation and move in to park properly when they noticed an available parking spot.

.....

Over there, it is quite common for people to double their cars...but most will either have the driver waiting in the car and not leave it there while the driver queue for their food or eating there.
