The bwm platform is way better.... But still cannot beat physics.

My current 2017 mcs is OK mechanically  but still have pretty high wear and tear. Engine mount change at 2yrs. Brake pads and rotors change at 2.8yrs.

Wah chg car ah! 😄

The concept vs the production looks very close to what was introduce to the market.

While its not as wild looking as the Civic, its also not price like a civic type R. So the premium asking price for the GP does not help sell the Mini. The limited production run of 3000 units world wide however does help to keep it exclusive.

Any insights in the engine for jcw n cooper S or just a matter of boost. I like the fact that JB4 can helps improve the performance without much drama

I don't do much stuff on the engine.

Can't offer much insight on engine.

I think need to change better intercooler to maintain boost

F59??

I thk it’s now typical BMW reliability. The older R can make u run workshops without solving the problem. But also too many mod until the car parts gave way.

Does the jcw Stock intercooler plug n play into the cooper S or waste time just go after market? Sometimes intercooler result in lag on the lower end of the rev range

Get aftermarket 1.  Aftermarket intercooler is much bigger.  It should be plug n play

Yes. So far the N18s are doing good.
If anything, it’s always down to modding issues.

What’s with it? Bulb or circuitry?

I think it’s circuitry. Only rear light malfunction

Me friend used to have a R series and something similar happened.

Turned out to be the  wire that needed a change in harness . To save cost he changed that sole wire. That was a job for wire man which was a rather  tedious work.
