Viceroymenthol 6th Gear June 7, 2012 Share June 7, 2012 Yup i'm not an AP fan but if i ever buy AP i will probably choose only The RG rubberclad, the dualtime, or the Safari. You should hv kept the hex(round) button RG rubberclad, Dude ! Oh not to worry, the RG rubber clad is still in production I think! Until when I don't know! The problem with the rubber clad series is that the rubber bezel tends to break down after some time, being a natural material. The pushers and crown wrapping however are made of a different rubber/silicone compound so lasts longer. ↡ Advertisement

AP looks tough but is not really so in terms of looks for AP, my choice will be those three.

Throttle2 Supersonic June 7, 2012 Share June 7, 2012 The normal AP's are scratch magnets, esp. the diver and non rubberclad versions just like the PP nautilus and aquanuat clean bezel. but no scratch magnet is as scratch magnet as my solid gold Sport Rolex

Steptronic Supercharged June 8, 2012 Share June 8, 2012 *pass you some antidote The best antodote you can give is just tell those two designs are lousy In fact, I was never into watches, the costliest watch I ever bought was for 550$. Rolex regular ones give the best "value buy" and my wife insists the same everytime I take the topic of watches. I have got a serious mind block on Rolex as I consider them quite Ah Pek (true or not?). Similarly, even though I know Mercedes gives the best resale (esspecially I have a habit of changing the cars in 2-3 years) but I consider anything above C series is Ah-pek! Most of the time a guy coming out of E / S class with a golden Rolex is an uncle. I can bet the average age of the guys on this Rolex-Mercedes combo is 65 years and of course our throtlle bro is an exception Any good psycologist recommended ? Throttle2 Supersonic June 8, 2012 Share June 8, 2012 The Corum picture I posted earlier costs close to 18K! Rolex Prince is around 13K!! last time i can say my watch can buy category B coe, now my watch cant even buy category A coe. now $18k can buy my second hand Triumph Speedtriple 1050cc naked superbike. better quickly buy..... "$5kpm salary is the poor of the very near future....." "nearer than you think..." tomorrow Rolex increase price again...

You are doing fine (better than me even) :p
